• Perform and assist with Scanogen reagent preparation for use in R&D and in the final product
• Perform routine and specialized experiments, and assist as needed
• Perform quality control for prepared reagents
• Prepare buffers and maintain buffer inventory
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment
• Collect and document experiment data and generate detailed experiment reports
• Oversee lab inventory and request supplies when needed to maintain stocks
• Ensure laboratory safety by following safety guidelines and protocols
• Maintain a clean and organized lab space
• Associate's degree (or equivalent) in biological science or related discipline (minimum)
• At least 1 year of experience as lab technician (or equivalent) in industrial or academic laboratory
• Ability to interact with colleagues in a team environment
• Willingness to perform a variety of tasks beyond area of core expertise
• Familiarity with a lab environment
• Aseptic and sterile techniques
• Pipetting & micro-pipetting
• Experience in molecular diagnostics is a plus
• Experience in cancer or infectious disease research is a plus
